Star Wars: The Power Awakens is the highest grossing film of 2015 having a huge box office take of over $2 billion. This movie derives a lot from the first Star Wars, because it is Star Wars, and only goes along as you might anticipate, yet it is still quite enjoyable. Star Wars: The Force Awakens dazzles audiences using a surface of nostalgic fun made glistening new-but beneath that mask, if you care to see it, lurks an abyss of futility. Definitely, the characters sound the same, and they do act the same, but they just don't feel the same. Critics Consensus: Populated by both recognizable faces and fresh blood and packed with actions, The Force Awakens successfully remembers the show' former glory while injecting it with renewed energy.

As the movie started out (essentially up until the point he removed his mask), he actually was not that much different than Darth Vader in episode IV, at least on paper. As a standalone picture there's nothing wonderful about dialogue, directing or the storyline, but thought, nostalgia and the hoopla made this a fantastic movie going experience. The Power Awakens strikes all the right chords, psychological and narrative, to feel recognizable and exhilaratingly new.

Critic Consensus: Packed with action and populated by both familiar faces and fresh blood, The Force Awakens successfully remembers the show' former glory while injecting it. From the off, the film of JJ Abrams sets out to shake Star Wars from its slumber, and reconnect the series with its much-pined- for past. But also, for those devotees who have been displeased with the Prequel Trilogy, The Force Awakens is the much-needed reboot that takes fans back to the Star Wars of the youth.

Abrams understands that a fantastic Star Wars movie is not only regarding the whizbang external material, but additionally in regards to the soul in its classic riff on the ceaseless struggle involving the sides of light and black (good vs evil). In the film you can clearly see the psychological conflicts inside the characters; it beams through the actor's performances.

The remainder of the movie looks and feels just like the Original Trilogy, allowing us to enjoy the attempts of actual puppeteers and makeup artists who are unfortunately not given the chances they used to have in Hollywood although using computer animation when it is needed but. biggest concern with this going is was that it wasn't going to feel like a Star Wars film.
