Basketball is a sport that has made it's mark in the hearts of individuals. Some well-known individuals in this field are Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and who can put aside the legend, Michael Jordan. Just how did they grow to be so awesome? Not many things can take the place of basketball drills for working on every part of the game with each players. Take your basketball skills to the next level by doing dribble drills whenever you can. Do them at the basketball court, on the sidewalk, in your garage, your driveway wherever you can.

Scissors drills allow for incredible amounts of control of the ball. This is a stationary drill. Players stand with legs in a triangle pose. When you blow the whistle, they bounce the ball between the legs and swap which is in front. Each whistle, they scissor their legs out in the opposite direction. Do not let your players look at their feet or the ball, they must look forward and feel where to bounce, jump, and catch.

Passing the basketball for an open teammate will usually be the option taken if you believe you cannot drive available your defender, or find a good shot to your basketball goal. This is often the case while you are heavily guarded and cannot apparently effectively fake out your defender.
